Description
St. Johns has, for the last few years, been considered the last affordable close-in Portland neighborhood. With the Lombard Plan bringing cute and quirky new storefronts to the St. Johns downtown stretch and the completion of the St. Johns Bridge renovation, prices are rising as the neighborhood gets hotter.

Description
The small community of Linnton is located in Northwest Portland along a stretch of the Willamette River. With it's early roots as a former logging town and it's prime waterfront acreage, the neighborhood is struggling with the City of Portland over future Linnton waterfront development--either more industrial or residential/industrial mix. It's not clear yet who will win out, the residents or the City of Portland, but one thing is clear--Linnton has a strong sense of identity and community pride. >learn more
